Inka by Mirasol
Inka is a super soft, fingering weight yarn with a lovely drape and a beautiful sheen. Inka means "one who shines" in Mapuche. This is a great choice for shawls in knit or crochet.
The yarn is formed from a woven tube of viscose providing a beautiful iridescent sheen and structure, which is then filled with blown baby alpaca fibers creating the super soft feel and lofty light weight in the knitted fabric.
Inka has a gauge of 27-32 stitches per four inches on US 1-3 (2.25mm-3.25mm) needles. Its fiber content, a blend of viscose and baby alpaca, will create soft yet beautifully detailed shawls, sweaters and accessories. At 442 yards per 75 gram skein, a little goes a long way.
