Hedgehog Fibers Tweedy Yarn

Announcing our first Hedgehog Fibers Yarn! Tweedy, a dk wool yarn that is soft yet wooly made from 50% Falkland Merino Wool, 37.5% Recycled wool, 12.5% our Thread waste. 

Tweed DK yarn and the colored bits are from Hedgehog Fibers own hand-dyed waste and the ties that they take off the hand dyed skeins. They save them very diligently and it's a total labor of love!

We are always looking for ways to be more environmentally friendly and to minimise waste. On top of our thread waste we are using recycled wool, making 50% of the total content recycled. We love the result! It's soft, yet wooly. Not superwash and it blooms beautifully after washing.
