Hedgehog Fibers Tweedy Yarn
Announcing our first Hedgehog Fibers Yarn! Tweedy, a dk wool yarn that is soft yet wooly made from 50% Falkland Merino Wool, 37.5% Recycled wool, 12.5% HHF Thread waste.
The colored nupps are from Hedgehog Fibers own hand-dyed waste and the ties that they take off the hand dyed skeins. They save them very diligently - it's a total labor of love!
HHF is always looking for ways to be more environmentally friendly and to minimise waste. On top of their thread waste we are using recycled wool, making 50% of the total content recycled. We love the result! It's soft, yet wooly, non-superwash and it blooms beautifully after washing.
Colors may vary from skein to skein, even within the same dyelot.
