We love this yarn from Seven Sisters Arts! Zodiac is a worsted-weight, hand-dyed yarn made here in Maine. This 4-ply yarn is luxurious and the colors are just wonderful.  The squish-factor is absolutely dreamy with this plump yarn — lovely for showcasing textured stitches, cables, or colorwork, with next-to-skin softness.

Windswept Boomerang by Alice Dunn Smith in Plush Single by ontheround

The Windswept Boomerang is a top-selling pattern in our shop — with ontheround's local, indie-dyed yarn! 

Rosie is pictured above wearing her Windswept on our June knitting cruise on the Schooner Olad, planned in partnership with Sawmill Creek Fiber Events. 

Plush single is a fingering weight yarn, it's light weight, incredibly soft, and has a beautiful silky sheen. Plush is the perfect yarn for a colorful shawl, lightweight hat, or your favorite colorwork design.

This yarn is excellent for baby knits and garments worn next to sensitive skin. 

While this is a fingering weight yarn, this yarn is not ideal for socks. (Check out Nimble Sock, ontheround's sock base!)

Sweater Soap from Longwinter Soap Co.

Locally-made in Damariscotta, Maine, this sweater soap is formulated to clean and refresh your knits with lots of coconut oil and lanolin. This formula is palm-free and packaged without any plastic whatsoever, scented gently with essential oils (also comes as an unscented option). It's also gentle on your skin, so it can pull double duty in a pinch! 

Simply fill your sink with warm water, lather your hands and put them in the water a few times until the water becomes cloudy, then submerge your knits and let them soak. No rinsing required.

Superfatted to 5%, tested on friends (and their sweaters), not animals. Each bar comes in its own little muslin bag and wrapped in recycled brown paper printed with title and ingredients.

About 5-6oz per bar.

Ingredients: Water; Lye; Coconut, Rapeseed, and Olive Oils; Lanolin; Essential Oils
